By accepting our services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms: All fire extinguishers will be serviced in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Our services include inspections, recharging, testing and any necessary repairs, as well as the replacement of parts or units if deemed required with manufacturer service manual, or for safety and performance. All work will be completed within a reasonable time frame based on availability of parts and scheduling. The customer is responsible for providing safe access to all fire extinguishers and ensuring their timely inspection as per the recommended intervals. Any additional work or replacement required due to damage, misuse, or failure to meet service requirements will incur extra charges. Payment is due upon completion of the service or as per agreed-upon terms, with a late fee applied for overdue payments. Estimates are provided based on initial inspection, and any unforeseen issues may result in additional charges, which will be communicated and approved prior to proceeding with further work.
Fire Extinguisher Business Terms and Conditions
By accepting our services, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Services: All maintenance and repairs are completed in accordance with Ohio Fire Code, NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards and the manufacturers service manuals to ensure safety and compliance.
2. Estimates: Any estimates provided are based on the initial inspection and/or scope of work discussed. Please note that we are required to correct any deficiencies in order to bring the fire protection system into compliance with the appropriate standard. This may include additional charges.
3. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services or as per the agreed-upon terms. Any outstanding balance not paid within 30 days of the due date will incur a late fee of 2% per month on the past due amount. Your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) will be additional if applicable.
4. Compliance Reporting Fees: You may see a compliance reporting fee on your invoice. Some Authority’s Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) require fire protection contractors to report compliance of your fire protection systems that we service to a third party. These third parties charge a fee for this reporting. These fees are not built into our pricing and may appear on your invoice.
5. Additional Charges: Any necessary repairs, replacements, or unforeseen issues that arise during service will be communicated to the customer, and additional charges may apply. No work will be performed beyond the agreed-upon estimate without prior customer approval.
6. Access & Responsibility: The customer is responsible for providing safe, open access to fire protection equipment being serviced, inspected, or installed. Failure to provide adequate access may result in delays or additional charges.
7. Liability: Your fire protection equipment has been serviced by an individual certified by the State of Ohio in accordance with NFPA Standards and the Ohio Fire Code. The certified individual and Mac Fire Protection assume no liability for defective operation as it may be due to causes beyond our control. All fire extinguishers should be inspected monthly per NFPA 10.
